Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan, actor who has been a part of the SSC's board of directors since 2011, is the co-founding artistic director of the newly formed theater company Speech of Fire. She served as Artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 to the year 2019. As the Artistic Director for SSC she also served as the costume and set designer for the production, as well as writer/music director as well as a text coach. While she was usually the leader of the acting ensemble during her last year, she made her first appearance as a director (and lighting designer) for SSC's King Lear. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. Other roles include an array of game show appearances. Their two daughters and sisters were raised in the home of her science-minded father Richard F. Post, as well as poet Marylee Post in Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School in Los Angeles was her school of choice. She participated as a cheerleader.
